The Production Shed are delighted to announce that we have been offered a Strategic Touring grant from Arts Council England to support a tour of Circus Geeks show, Beta Testing in Spring 2015.
“A circus experience for the Zuckerberg generation.”
The Circus Diaries
This fantastic juggling show won The Propeller Prize For Circus in 2013 and performed to sell-out audiences in CircusFest 2014 at the Roundhouse.
Imagine a mix of a TED-talk, Monty Python and three world-class jugglers, and you are somewhere close. This show has entertained, delighted, and frankly, disgusted audiences in London, and now people across the UK will have the chance to see this ground-breaking young company in action.
Circus Geeks began life as a blog. Beta Testing was inspired by its most popular posts. The blog is now one of the most viewed circus websites in the world, which can be found at www.circusgeeks.co.uk

Joyce Wilson, Area Director, London, Arts Council England, adds: “We are delighted to support Production Shed as it takes Circus Geeks’ Beta Testing on tour. Circus is a wonderfully engaging artform and this tour will give audiences the chance to get really close to the action as the jugglers perform. It will take in a wonderful mix of venues and locations, reaching new audiences across the country, including those who may not have had the chance to see this type of performance before.”
With Arts Council England’s support, we will also be able to offer free juggling workshops to schools local to each of our venues, to give an insight into contemporary circus at its best.
